Here at Kawana Rewinds, we pride ourselves on quality. When we saw these pumps come in for repair/overhaul, mainly only needing a cleanu-up and new mechanical seal.

We are happy with the quality of their build and it is good to see how they work for the boat guys. The open impeller makes all the difference for these guys as they need to pass through bigger objects that go through the system. Closed impellers and cast-iron housings seem to cause a lot more troble in these areas as corrosion is also a big issue.

We noticed that the single-phase motor is up with the standards of most single phase 2.2kw motors that are available these days. We always recommend that a three-phase motor will be more efficient and that the better that it is protected from the elements, the longer life you will get from it.

All in all, we like the design and the quality of this pump. Keep up the good work.
